Dr. A.Mustafa is an established and highly skilled Hormone and Endocrine Specialist with over 20 years of experience. She completed her residency at Reading Hospital in Pennsylvania (USA). Dr. A.Mustafa is also affiliated with numerous well-known health system in US including Tower Health, Geisinger Health System and UTHSCSA (University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio). Dr. A.Mustafa collaborates with other physicians and care providers in medical groups which include UTHSCSA and Penn State.

Dr. A.Mustafa is American Board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Obesity Medicine, and Internal Medicine. She has an extensive training in internal medicine and hormonal sciences including:

  • MD in internal medicine, from Thomas Jefferson affiliated program, Reading PA, USA.
  • A Fellowship in Obesity Medicine and Clinical Nutrition, Geisinger Health System, Danville, PA, USA
  • A Fellowship in Endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, Penn state Medical University, Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA
  • During her training she received several awards which include the prestige 2 weeks of honorary training at NIH.
